Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress best recognized for her roles in films on the film Ray Undercover Brother and on the television series The Mentalist. She received a B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue is l. Ellis, the American producer and actress who has performed in theatre and television as well, is present on both sides of the screen. Her acting career started in the theater. Then she appeared on numerous television shows as well as independent and mainstream movies. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make an appearance in BET's epic TV series The Book of Negroes. Her career began as an actress in 1995 when she played Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. On Broadway, she has appeared on stage in Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Seeking the Genesis and Joe Turner's Come and Gone. In the film industry her most well-known roles are parts like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express or The Help. Also, she is well-known for her part in ABC's crime drama High Incident.
