Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd had training in kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She dominated all her opponents during the opening round. Then she fought at WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo ahead of a match against Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen in a unanimous vote. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss through defeat of Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta 16 saw her go to the weight class of Bantamweight following her bout with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Her superior wrestling abilities took down McGill, and she was able finish her in the third round through TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen had to face Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy using the catchweight (138.1lb), because Ladd didn't make an appearance at the weigh-in. Aspen still dominated Hoy and eventually ended her fight with a TKO. Invicta FC21 was her last bout for the organization. She beat Sijaraebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina as she pound her down for a second-round TKO victory. The dominance of her continued, and she won a dazzling victory when she fought Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd beat Evinger in just the first minute and received a bonus for her performance on the night. Her debut fight was in her next fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters earning one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in 16-seconds to break her record of wins. She bounced back, and defeated Yana Kunitskaya, in the 3rd round on UFC in ESPN 7. As a replacement, she defeated Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
