Kat Dennings (n e Katherine Victoria Litwack) was born on 13th June, 1986 at Bryn Mawr Pennsylvania. The mother of her child, Ellen had been a poet and speech therapist while the father of her, Gerald, was a molecular pharmacologist and college professor. Dennings is the oldest of five siblings raised by an orthodox Jewish mother and father is an accomplished actress. Dennings attended homeschooling, and attended school only for a brief period. Homeschooling made sense because she hoped to become an actor from an early age. Her ability to complete her high school studies at the age of 14. In the age of 9she began performing in commercials. To pursue her acting career, Kat Dennings moved with her family to Los Angeles when she finished high school. Kat Dennings was her name at the time she started to audition. Kat Dennings acting debut after her move to LA after appearing in the HBO series "Sex and the City" in the year 2000. Kat Dennings was a part of "Sex and City" on HBO.
